YOU ARE LOVED, CONTINUE IN THAT LOVE.
“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” -John 15:9 KJV
Think about the strength of the love that God (The Father), has for Jesus Christ (His Son); then try to put yourself in the picture! Try to fathom it!! Jesus said, He loves you deeply and sincerely, with the same kind and measure of love the Father has for Him. Think about that?!
Everyone wants to be loved! Actually, everyone should be loved!! Everyone should experience what love is. But, crisis arise when people want love, but hate instructions!!! Jesus speaks of the love between Him and the Father, and extends the same to us! Jesus has shown us how much He loves us, because He even went to the cross for us! “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.“ -John 15:13 KJV. Our part now, is to embrace Him back, by accepting His sacrifice of love demonstrated on the cross of calvary. Secondly, we should obey His constant instructions.
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” -John 15:10 KJV. If you want to be loved continously, obey instructions continously! It is manipulation, if an obviously rebellious and defiant woman is clamoring for love from her husband. She won’t get it, no matter how much she tries! Jesus clearly said, the Father has continued to love Him, because He kept doing the Father’s commandments: “…I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” -John 15:10 KJV. So, you need to embrace the love extended to you, before you can enjoy it! Secondly, you need to continue to operate within the codes of conduct in that union, before you can continue to enjoy the love that is obtainable there! Today, accept the love offer of Jesus Christ, and continue to obey His constant instructions; so that your love-affair with Him may never end!
SAY THIS: Heavenly Father, thank you for the knowledge of your word. Today, I open my heart and my arms, to embrace and accept the love that Jesus has for me! I surrender to Him completely. Father, let Him guide me daily, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!!
