WHEN THE BELOVED IS IN DANGER
“Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying,“Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.* -John 11:3 NKJV
Whoever Mary and Martha sent to deliver that message to Jesus could have done it also out of mockery. Questioning Jesus’ so called love for Lazarus: “The one you love is sick!” Why not rather just say “Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha, the ones that live in Bethany, is sick”? Well, wether the messenger mocked or not; the speech didn’t catch my attention as much as the reply of the Lord. “When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” -John 11:4 NKJV.
Just in case people have told your God, “see! The one you claim to love is homeless!” Or, “see! The one you say you love is childless.” Or, “see! The one you claim to love has no job!” Or, “see! The one you claim to love is in a big mess!” The Lord is replying them today! THAT CHALLENGE IS NOT THE END OF YOUR LIFE, GOD IS ABOUT TO START A MUSIC THAT EVERY ONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WILL DANCE TO, ANY TIME THEY HEAR YOUR TESTIMONY!
Challenges are not proofs that someone is without God! Whatever God calls your trouble is what it is; not what you or people call it! If God says those troubles are your ladder to the throne; then that’s what they are! You have a strong word of assurance from Jesus: “But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your patience possess your souls.” -Luke 21:18-19 NKJV. If Jesus loves you, you’re covered! If you love and serve Him, every thing will turn around for your good!! Always sing this verse like a song: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28 KJV.
