“Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.” Daniel 2:48 KJV
Problem-solvers will always rule this world! Living by the fallacy of “whatever-will-be-will-be” is to set yourself up for a life of failure. If you solve problems you will reign. When God wants to announce you, or honor you, He’d create a difficult situation that only you can solve.
Think about the king demanding that people should tell him the dream he had in his bedroom, and that they should interpret it; without him speaking to them at all about it. The wise men told the king; “no king demands such things from anyone!” Yet, he insisted. Because, Daniel had the God who can! And it was time for his announcement and promotion!
God knows what He has deposited inside you, and He knows how to create the circumstances that would require the manifestation of those hidden gifts. The part you need to play is to be able to recognize the opportunities He has created for you to manifest what you carry. In Egypt, Joseph asked those prison inmates to tell him their dreams, because he knew he had the gift to interpret dreams. Know what you carry, and know your God! When those challenging situations come, check your inner storehouse. Do you have something to tackle that situation? Then face it! Behind that difficult situation is your manifestation of glory, and there is your honor!
