ONE SURE KEY TO LONGEVITY AND PROSPERITY

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord [that is, accept their guidance and discipline as His representatives], for this is right [for obedience teaches wisdom and self-discipline]. Honor [esteem, value as precious] your father and your mother [and be respectful to them]—this is the first commandment with a promise so that it may be well with you, and that you may have a long life on the earth.“ Ephesians 6:1-3 AMP

There is nothing fashionable or modern about being rude to your parents or spiritual authorities! Actually, such children were condemned to death by stoning, according God’s laws in the Old Testament (Exodus 21:15, 17). In the New Testament, one may not be physically stoned, but could be stoned still spiritually!

God wants us to prosper and live long enough on the earth; but, if anyone disregards or mistreats those who brought him or her to the earth or to a glorious life; God wills that person fails and dies young!

How do you relate with your own biological and spiritual parents; either actual or foster parents? Please check, because these hold the keys to your success and long life. Honor does not end because you bowed the head, honor also means caring! Checking up on them constantly to know their state. Share your goods with them. When they counsel you, don’t throw their words into the garbage! They hold the keys to your blessings and your long life on the earth. Honor and obey your parents!

PRAY🙏:
Heavenly Father, thank you, for the gift of parents. I appreciate you for those you positioned over me for guidance and rebukes. I declare that I will honor them, and I will share my goods with them. I will obey them when they guide and rebuke me. I will therefore prosper and live long on earth, in Jesus’ name I pray! Amen.
