IS JESUS YOUR LORD, AND SAVIOR?
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Luke 6:46 KJV
Jesus died for the whole world, His blood was shed for the washing away of the sins of every human: “… he {John the Baptist} saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! [Ex 12:3; Is 53:7]” John 1:29 AMP. Jesus is not a religious leader! He is not the Savior to just Christians, but the Savior of the whole world! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 KJV.
Jesus’ sacrificial work was done for the whole world, but not everyone has accepted Him and submitted themselves to Him. Even many of those who profess that He is their Savior have not submitted themselves to Him as Lord! They are saved because they have believed and accepted that His blood washed their sins away. But they do not follow His teachings and guidance, they do what they like to do, not what Jesus instructs them to do! Jesus knew that people revered Him with their lips and not with their hearts! “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 KJV.
You must allow His blood to wash your sins away, and make your heart submit completely to His instructions! Whatever religion you may be practicing now cannot take your sins away; only the blood of Jesus can! And, if you’re born again (i.e saved), you are not permitted to be reckless and carefree, doing whatever you like to do. Jesus should be your Boss, Master, and Mentor! If you desire to make it into Heaven; Jesus must be your Savior and your Lord.
SAY THIS PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I agree that my good works cannot save me. My religion cannot wash my sins away. I accept, that Jesus died for my sins! I accept Him as my Savior and as my Lord. From now, I submit myself to your instructions and counsel oh God, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.
