IF YOU ARE LED INTO UNPLEASANT SITUATIONS

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.” Luke 4:1 KJV

It is very possible, that as a Spirit-filled and Spirit-guided Christian, the world around you suddenly looks like a jungle! A place where there seem to be no clear pathway! Al!most everything look uncertain and precarious. As if the worst would happen anytime. You might wonder: “wait a minute! How did I get here?!”But, when you look back, you are so sure that God has been your guide and leader all the while! That unpleasant situation or place can be your marriage, the new business you started, the job you just picked up, your friendship with a certain person, the area you moved into, or the school you just joined! If you were truly led there by God, as Jesus being full of the Spirit was guided into the wilderness; then you were led there for your development, and for a purpose higher than your feelings! You need to pay attention to the Spirit (ie The Counsellor and Teacher) that guided you there.Joseph was guided to find his brothers in the wilderness. When he found them, they sold him out to Egypt, where he eventually ruled as Prime Minister! The children of Israel were led to the red sea, in which God destroyed their enemies, He displayed His capacity to split a sea into two; and made nations greatly fear them and their God! Paul and his team were guided into Macedonia, yet they were jailed and badly treated. Eventually, several souls were won into God’s Kingdom, including that of their Jailer and his entire household. Jesus was guided into the wilderness for Him to be tested, it was part of His training! If God guided you into that unpleasant situation, ask Him: “Father, what do you want me to learn here?” Or, “what do you want to correct in me?” “What are you teaching me Lord!” The wilderness is not for your destruction, but for your preparation for a glorious future! *”My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”* James 1:2-4 KJV
