I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 NKJV
I have heard unbelievers telling Christians; “you are wrong, we did not expect such things from you”. And people who tell Preachers; “are you not a Pastor…. why did you do that!?” That clearly shows that people know what GOD demands from them, as humans.
That is why prostitutes and armed robbers do not have business cards. Those who practise adultery hide to do it. There is what we call conscience, and that is the closest person to everyone of us. The conscience is the only preacher that doesn’t look at your face, he just preaches! Beside our conscience, the media has also made the truth available to everyone of us. People no longer need to enter churches before they hear the truth, and to know what GOD demands from them. Just by having a mobile phone, or a television, or a radio, you would see or hear the truth flying around. So, we have no excuses, to claim ignorance of the truth.
The scripture says, “He has shown you, O man… “ Even this message you’re reading was sent to you by GOD. You cannot deny ever reading it. It is GOD “SHOWING YOU” what you need to know. Do you remember the story Jesus told about the farmer who scatters seeds on different fields?? It is GOD “…showing you, O man, what is good…” What does GOD want from you? He wants you to first, recognize your need for Jesus Christ. He wants you to live a just life with Him and other humans. He wants you to have mercy on those that have offended you. And walk always in humility. “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.” Romans 2:1 NKJV. Let us therefore do what He has “shown” us. Let us do what we know to be the truth, and what is right, and He would be pleased with us.
