HOW TO KNOW TRUE BELIEVERS

“He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” -I John 2:4 NKJV

A Pastor read one of my articles on Facebook, then He private-chatted me. That Believers in the New Testament “don’t obey commands”, they only “do the word”! Frankly, it is so appalling to see Believers of this age arguing about words and letters, rather than understanding the intent of God in His words. If you are going to be punished for any instruction you have refused to carry out, on the day of judgement; what you received on earth was a command, not an advice!

The words of Jesus to us as Believers, are commands… not advice! That’s why Apostle John (The Beloved… in the “New Testament”) said: *”He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”* -I John 2:4 NKJV. Even Jesus Himself said in Matthew 28:20, that we should teach our disciples, every thing that He has “COMMANDED” us!

So, *”… whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”* -I John 2:5‭-‬6 NKJV. So, be very interested to know what a Believer is doing, and how he is walking; than what he claims to be! Jesus also commanded that we should love one another as Believers. Therefore, whoever hates his brother is certainly a liar… if he claims to love God! Look out for works, more than you do words!
