HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD?

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 KJV

I will never forget a young man in Benin City. We had gone to preach to him, during a house-to-house evangelism. After listening keenly to us. He replied; “you people have told me about your God; but I have my own “God” inside”. I asked him, “where is he?” He replied, “he’s inside!” “Inside where?” I probed further. “Inside the wardrobe in the house …my grandfather gave “it” to me.”

Wow! He had confidence a “God” that could fit into his wardrobe! And he believed that deity could save and help him! But, our God is so big, the entire earth is His footstool! “This is what the Lord says, “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where, then, is a house that you could build for Me? And where will My resting place be?” Isaiah 66:1 AMP.

This mighty God that we serve saves! He delivers from unpleasant circumstances! He rejoices over us as His children! He is bigger than any house! More faithful and reliable than any bank! More dependable than any wage or salary! The LORD, our God, is mighty! He will save and He will deliver you!! Call upon Him with understanding.
