GOD CAN HANDLE YOUR FEAR“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.” Psalms 56:3 NKJV
Who doesn’t get scared? Abraham feared he might be killed for the sake of Sarah, he told her; tell them you’re my sister. Peter feared being crucified with Jesus, he vehemently denied ever knowing Him, three times! David feared he might be killed in Goliath’s territory, when he was discovered to be the one that killed Goliath. He quickly pretended to be a raving mad man. Fear comes when we feel we are not humanly capable to handle the situation confronting us.
But, GOD is the Almighty! He is the Father of all spirits (Hebrews 12:9). He is the King of kings and The Lord of lords. He rebuked king Pharaoh and commanded him to return Sarah to Abraham her husband, to let Abraham know that he wasn’t alone. GOD is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. No matter what the situation is with you right now. May be you are owing and you fear the creditor might come to confisticate your belongings. Or your boss has threatened to fire you. Or business isn’t moving and you fear you might be forced to pack up. Whatever the situation is, GOD has the capacity to help you. Just tell Him, “GOD, I put my trust in you!” Trust His ability to do anything for you.
I won’t forget a man who brought the quit notice his landlady issued him. I told him, drop it on the altar, let’s tell GOD the letter was written to Him, not you. We prayed, few days later, the landlady told the man; “don’t worry, you can stay, forget about the quit notice”. With GOD, all things are absolutely possible! (Luke 1:37). Whenever you get intimidated, or confused about anything, role the situation over to GOD, He knows what to do! Always tell Him, “I put my trust in you”.
