GOD AVENGES

“For we know Him who said, “vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” -Hebrews 10:30 NKJV

Punishing an evil person is not wickedness, it is called justice! Many people who are ignorant of the concept of justice think it is wicked to send souls to hell, or to injure them or destroy them for their evil acts. So, they say ‘God is not wicked, He cannot do that!’ God should not be misrepresented. Justice and wickedness have different meanings.

See our study verse from the Amplified Version of the Bible: *”For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the deliverance of justice rest with Me], I will repay [the wrongdoer].” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”* -Hebrews 10:30 AMP. So, if God says He would do something, don’t preach that He would not do it, all in the name of trying to present “the goodnews”! Or trying to portray a “good God”. Your beautiful sermons won’t change His attributes!

Our God is The God of justice! He is not wicked, but He will not condone wickedness! If you do evil, wait, it is a matter of time… your reward is coming from Him. If you do good, you won’t also lose your reward. So, daily… make the right choices. Because; *”it is a fearful and terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God [incurring His judgment and wrath].”* -Hebrews 10:31 AMP.
