GET TO KNOW YOUR FATHER

“Doubtless You are our Father, though Abraham was ignorant of us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O Lord, are our Father; Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.” -Isaiah 63:16 NKJV

Jesus promised to not leave His followers as orphans; as children without parents. And the cardinal of His messages when He was on earth was that the people should get to relate with God as their Father who resides in Heaven!

Look carefully at our study verse; Abraham (our father of faith) may be ignorant of you. Israel (our ancestor because of the covenant) may not recognize you. But, because of your faith in God through Jesus Christ, your Father is God -and He is your Redeemer! Don’t hang yourself because no spiritual father has embraced you. Don’t disqualify your ministry because no one has “endorsed” your ministry. As important as these are; they would never take the place of your Redeemer, and your Maker.

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand.” -Isaiah 64:8 NKJV. Fatherhood has huge responsibilities to: provide, protect, sustain, defend, train, etc. All these, and more, God will not fail to do for you; if you believe in Him! And if you need to be mentored and imparted by His Trusted Servants, He will connect you to them-I can testify to that from my personal experience! Get to relate with your Maker, and your Redeemer, as Father. And make sure you embrace and honor the spiritual fathers or Mentors that He sends your way; to train, impart, correct or rebuke you: until you become what God wants you to be 🙏.
