CARE FOR OTHER CHRISTIANS
“That there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.” I Corinthians 12:25 NKJV
Am I duty bound to care for other Christians? Is it my duty or God’s, to see to the welfare of other Christians? Can you remember the reply that Cain gave to God when He asked him; “where is your brother?” Did you remember how Cain replied? “Am I my brother’s keeper?” That is the very attitude of many Christians today!
We are at a stage where Christians take undue advantage of the weaknesses of other Christians. When they find you weak, they take advantage or mock you; instead of profering help to heal you and get you back on your feet! Christians need to wake up to their responsibilities! What ever we call services towards God on earth, is actually services towards men! Angels don’t fall sick. You can’t cast devils out of angels! God doesn’t need healing, and He cannot be broke! You cannot preach to angels! Your services will always be towards humans, if they must be acceptable to God!
The scripture says: “The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.” 1 Corinthians 12:25-26 MSG. If you are part of the body of Christ, care for other fellow Christians; as you would care for yourself.
