BENEFITS OF TRUSTING GOD
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” -Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
1. DIVINE SUSTENANCE: Water sustains life. Anything living that lacks the supply of water will die. Did you know that more than half of the human body is all water, including earth itself?! So, trusting God sustains our existence, because He is our source! We all came from Him. To not trust Him is to cut oneself off His help.
2. DIVINE SPREADING: Water causes growth and increase. When you trust God, you will increase! Your number will swell! Numerically, materially, and financially! Everything you touch will increase!
3. DIVINE PROTECTION: God keeps His own! “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.” Psalms 125:1-2 NKJV. You will be kept from what every other person suffers from, if you put your trust in God.
4. DIVINE PROSPERITY: Green means prosperity, health, and freshness. Every one that trusts in God will have access to the economy of the Kingdom. Notning dies in the Kingdom! Your success will be unexplainable by human vocabularies. How do you analyze 5 loaves of bread feeding thousands of people?? Your trust in God will give you access to divine economy! In fact,, even global financial crises won’t scare those who get their resources from Zion!
5. UNENDING FRUITFULNESS: Even in old age, you will keep producing fruits, because the life you operate by is eternal-it is called Zoe! It doesn’t end! That same life will affect every other thing you do, business or ministry. Your success and progress will never end! Keep trusting God!
