PRAY IN TONGUES
_*”Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”*_ Romans 8:26 NKJV
Without the Holy Spirit, there is just no way a Christian will fulfill his or her purpose, or pray effectively. If we can do without the Holy Spirit, the Father wouldn’t have sent Him to us at all.
There are so many times we are too weak emotionally, and physically to even utter words of prayer. And there are times we are too confused, due to the pressures of life, that we lack the right words to say in prayer. We wonder if we should sing praises first, or do spiritual warfare. Or should we ask for forgiveness in case we have committed some sins “unknowingly”. These are the instances the Holy Spirit steps in. You would find Him just speaking from your innermost being. Those words would sping from the depths of your spirit, until you find yourself muttering those sweet words under your breadth. Your mind doesn’t understand the languages, but your spirit would agree with them. If you allow the Holy Spirit long enough, you would soon find yourself roaring those words like a lion.
Praying in the Spirit is tantamount to speaking with other tongues {strange languages). As disorganized as those words may sound to the natural mind, they are the perfect and accurate words you needed to say in prayer. Because the Holy Spirit knows the very mind of GOD concerning you per time, and He knows you and your specific needs, every time! _*”In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.”*_ ROMANS 8:26 AMP. Pray in tongues as often as you can, if you have the gift. If you haven’t got the gift, call for prayers because you should pray in tongues.
