BELIEVE GOD’S PROMISES THIS YEAR

“And the LORD said unto Abraham, wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:13-14 KJV

Three hundred and sixty-five days are a lot to live without divine direction! God should be your guide this year! There should be promises that He has made to you concerning this new year. There should be goals He wants you to accomplish for Him …and for yourself.

If you belong to any Spirit-guided ministry, a place where the Holy Spirit is recognized and listened to; there are things you must have been told by your spiritual leader about this year! I encourage you to believe them! Your present circumstances may not even match what you are told; that does not mean God’s promises will go unfulfilled. A few days before God visited Abraham’s home with two of His angels, He already told Abraham: “… my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” Genesis 17:21 KJV. Now, God was repeating the same information in Sarah’s hearing in chapter eighteen, but she laughed as though God was raising their hopes for nothing! Nevertheless, God fulfilled His promise within the said year. Genesis 21:1-2 KJV “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him”!

I don’t know what your Pastor said God told him about this year… your duty is to believe him! 1 Thessalonians 5:20 KJV says “Despise not prophesyings”! Even if what you have heard does not make logical sense, just trust God and believe him as God’s messenger! Isaiah 7:9 KJV “… If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.” The will of God is that His promises over your life come to pass this year; but you must agree with Him that His words are always true!
