When you become God’s child, and power is given to you by the Holy Spirit, one area of your life that God wants you to be in full control of, is your tongue!

It is of course often locked away in your mouth, by the teeth that round it like a barricade. But, when unleashed; it can wreck havoc… or build great things! The tongue feels quiet in your mouth, but if you listen well, you’d hear it so loud everywhere in people’s head! The tongue can build or destroy; either you or any other person. The tongue is powerful!

*”There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health.”* -Proverbs 12:18 NKJV. It takes mastery, for you to quickly listen to yourself before letting the words out of your lips! Eating up your words in apology after speaking only shows one thing: you don’t think before talking! Whereas, you should think before talking-No matter how fast a speaker you are! You should be in control of your tongue! Do not underestimate the damage it can do to your life… and that of others!
