 WHEN GOD IS TESTING YOUR PATIENCE

“And Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash.” I Samuel 13:11 NKJV

Whenever your ability to wait for God’s blessings is being tested, God will allow situations that would put you under the pressure of “making-a-smart-move”! In the world, a smart move is when you do something quickly, to save yourself-not God’s salvation!

The enemies have camped against King Saul, Prophet Samuel who was to commit the battle into the hands of the Lord had not shown up, those who should fight for Saul couldn’t wait any longer because they feared the enemies’ sudden invasion. So, King Saul stepped forward to function as a priest that he wasn’t chosen to function as! Due to that impatience, he lost the kingdom he should have ruled for ever!

Let patience have its perfect work! “For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry.” Hebrews 10:37 NKJV. Do not let impatience push you into diabolical activities, wait for God! King Saul thought it was smart for him to act fast before the worst happens; but Prophet Samuel called it foolishness! Do not do anything foolish… Wait for God! No matter what it costs you!
