SPEAK, EVEN WHEN THE STORM IS RAGING

“Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires.” -James 3:4 NKJV

That slogan; “a closed mouth is a closed destiny” is very true! Speaking is a sign of life! Brother James is a spiritual veteran, even considering his experience and trainings under the tutelage of our Lord Jesus Christ Himself!

Some ships are larger in size than some mansions; yet they’re driven by very small rudders. The wind can threaten to tear the ship apart, push it into some jagged rocks so that it could break into pieces, misguide it into wrong destinations, or even outrightly impede its movement towards its planned destination. But, with the help of the rudder, the Captain will still take the ship to his desired destination.

You are the Captain of your life, the ship is your life, the rudder is your tongue, while the wind is the circumstances and situations of life that war against you. As long as you are speaking God’s word (which is the map) over your life; you will reach your desired destination! If things are very tough, keep speaking God’s word and His promises over your life! As long as you’re saying the word of God, you will reach your desired destination safely. The storms of life will not destroy you, they will not misguide you, they will not stop you, neither will they drown you, in Jesus mighty name! Keep speaking, no matter what!!
