CAN GOD KILL FOR YOU?
“So Elijah answered and said to them,“If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.” -II Kings 1:12 NKJV
Preachers have said all manner of things concerning Elijah, Elisha, Moses, and other Servants of God who judged their adversaries by killing them. They have called them wicked, callous, merciless, among other words. If you know how the Prophetic anointing functions, you would not give these men such descriptions. Most of the time, Prophets see things before they declare them. They have seen the picture being shown them before they speak; so it seems like their words don’t ever fall to the ground. Remember: “Then Jesus answered and said to them,“Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, BUT WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DO; for whatever He does, THE SON ALSO DOES IN LIKE MANNER.” -John 5:19 NKJV. So, a lot of times, such judgements from the Prophets were the decision of Heaven concerning those casualties!
Back to my question… Can God kill someone for you? The value that God places upon the human life is known by the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. So, if God values the human life so much, what would make Him destroy that life, for the sake of another life?
(1) If the one that God is defending represents the justice and integrity of Heaven, God can use him or her to judge the godless! As in the case of Moses, who commanded and the ground opened up to swallow Korah, Dathan and Abiram, with their houses, family members, and belongings (Numbers 16:1-33). They accused Moses and Aaron of being arrogant and bossy over God’s people. Moses was very clear to them before they were destroyed: “… By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will.” -Numbers 16:28 NKJV. I told you, Prophets work based on very strict instructions… So, think deeply before you fight or judge them! Moses represented Heaven’s integrity and its justice!
(2) If the offenders become obstinate hindrance to the spread of the gospel and to His will on earth, God would take them out! “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” -Matthew 21:43-44 NKJV. That was why Herod ended up dead on the throne. Pharaoh and his entire kingdom was destroyed for the same reason. Whoever stands in God’s way when He’s working is listing his or her name for elimination.
So, God doesn’t kill people because they hate our faces. No! Neither can you hire Him to assassinate people for you. If your enemies fall into either of the two categories up there, they should repent or prepare to leave earth… because God is coming for them!
