WORD&POWER for TODAY
HOW DO YOU SEE YOUR CHALLENGES?
“… and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”” Numbers 14:7-9 NKJV
Sometimes, when we speak words of faith concerning the challenges that confront us, we look like we are telling lies. We sound arrogant and self-assuming.
Those who described the odds of the promised land didn’t tell lies. They were so correct with their description of the land, that one could say they were being honest. But, in the eyes of God, they were liars and evil reporters. The rest of the people in the camp however thought otherwise. They felt Joshua and Caleb who brought a different view of the land were the liars and evil reporters. So, they thought of stoning them! What do you call your enemies? Do you call them “breads” or “giants”. Do you call those barriers “walls around”, or “stepping stones into”, your promised land? Your confession sometimes might prompt people to feel like stoning you, please hold unto it!
See your challenges through the lens of God’s promises for you, and confess what you see. That is what Joshua and Caleb did! They saw their enemies and challenges from the perspective of God, and they confessed the same. If you do that, you’d discover that your enemies are not as tall as they look. You’d find out, that those walls are not as strong as they seem. With God on your side, nothing shall be impossible!! As long as God is with you …you will enter, and take, your promised lands!
PLEASE, DON’T MISS THE FIRST FLIGHT! Rapture will soon happen!
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior now, if you haven’t. If you backslidded because of sin, re-dedicate your life to Jesus now!
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 KJV
