GOD WILL GRANT YOUR DESIRES“The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.” Psalms 145:15-16 NKJV
Where you look matters. Upon whom your eyes are fixed determines what will flow towards you. In Matthew chapter six, Jesus described GOD The Father as one who cares about plants, animals and all humans, just as much as David described Him in the verse above.
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV
I say again, where you look matters! “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” Psalms 145:18-19 NKJV. Halleluyah! Every thing you look up to GOD for shall be granted, as long as your faith is in Him. Your expectations shall not be cut off! If He cares for animals and the grass of the field; every living thing as the Psalmist says, how much more would He take good care of you who is made in His image and likeness?! Trust Him, He will grant your heart’s desires!
PRAY: Father, all that I need today, and all that my soul desires for life and godliness, I have access to them in Christ Jesus. Therefore Father, I pray that you may grant my petitions and fulfill my heart’s desires in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
