LOVE WITHOUT OBEDIENCE IS NOT LOVE“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV
It was love for us that drove GOD into sacrificing His Son for us. After salvation, He demands our love for Him too.“We love Him because He first loved us.” I John 4:19 NKJV. And that love is to be demonstrated by our obedience to His instructions. We cannot love GOD with words and good music without obeying Him. That would be trying to romance Him with lies. The test for loyalty and love is compliance.
You cannot fool GOD! GOD cannot be mocked. If you claim to love Him, He tests you with instructions. “… for NOW I KNOW THAT THOU FEAREST GOD, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” Genesis 22:12 KJV. Jesus was so direct and plain about this; “Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. My Father will love those who love me; I too will love them and reveal myself to them.” John 14:21 GNB. Your love is measured by what you do with what you’re told. After salvation, you will experience another depth of love from Jesus and the Father, if you are an obedient Believer.
What did you do with the last instruction you were given? Did you keep it in your chest, or you carried it out? Do you want Jesus to reveal Himself to you … Have you done the last instruction He gave to you? Love without compliance is fraud. Measure your love level by your obedience to divine instructions and compliance with spiritual standards. So, pay more attention to your cooperation with divinity than you do on searching for miracles.
