YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW WHEN GOD CALLED A MAN, BEFORE YOU BELIEVE HIM

“We know [for certain] that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this Man, we do not know where He is from.” John 9:29 AMP

Really?! Were they there when GOD spoke to Moses? They were not there when GOD called Moses to ministry in the wilderness of Midian. In fact, when GOD was sending Moses, He had to send him with signs and wonders in order to convince the people that He truly had sent him: “Then the Lord said, “If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second. But if they do not believe these two signs or listen to you, take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. The water you take from the river will become blood on the ground.” Exodus 4:8‭-‬9 NIV. Even Moses had to perform unusual signs and wonders, apart from the message, to convince them that GOD sent him, before they accepted him as their Prophet (even though they still disobeyed and disrespected him repeatedly in spite of his profiles).

Here came Jesus, they were saying they didn’t know where He came from? They claimed to believe in John The Baptist, yet John publicly introduced Jesus as the Lamb of GOD. The One they should actually follow. They killed John! Jesus began preaching and Teaching the Word of GOD, healing the sick and performing miracles that even John did not perform. Yet, they said; “… this Man, we do not know where He is from.” That is the attitude people put up when they want to dishonor or disbelieve Ministers of GOD. They say; “who mentored him? In which Church has he ever served? When did he go to Bible School? But, we knew him to be a sinner, when did he become born again?” Has he been ordained? Etc!

“How then do I know a genuine Man of GOD?” You might want to ask me. Simply, keep this verse in your spirit: “The one whom God has sent speaks God’s words, because God gives him the fullness of his Spirit.” John 3:34 GNB. A Messenger of GOD will not preach himself, neither will he preach experiences over GOD’s Word! A True Messenger of GOD will continually emphasize the importance of people doing GOD’s Word. He will also do signs and wonders, miracles of different kinds, basically to emphasize or buttress the message he is preaching or teaching (Not because he wants to entertain his audience). So, stop asking, where did this man or woman come from, or when did GOD speak to him or her? GOD doesn’t call or train His Servants in the open. Rather, check their messages, check their character (spiritual and physical), and check the wonders they perform in the Lord’s name; you cannot go wrong that way. You really do not have to know when or where GOD called a man, before you believe in his ministry.
