DOES GOD REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU?“casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” 1 Peter 5:7 AMP
The story that readily comes to mind is that of Jesus feeding the four thousand. Listen to the voice of The One who truly cares; “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And if I send them away hungry to their own houses, they will faint on the way; for some of them have come from afar.” Mark 8:2-3 NKJV.
When GOD is silent about your matter, it doesn’t mean He doesn’t know what you are going through. His silence doesn’t mean He is not working. He knows our every fear, anxieties, pain, concern and worries. He knows every thing!! Jesus out of compassion knew the people had been listening to Him teach for three days (without food). He knew they couldn’t make it to their houses if He sent them away to get food by themselves (they would collapse on the way). And that not all of them lived around, “some of them have come from afar”. That is the voice of the One who knows, and does care.
He knows about your house rent. He knows about your children’s school fees. He knows your monthly income, and how much bill you must pay. He sees even the future that you cannot see. So, instead of worrying and getting agitated, throw those cares upon Him. He doesn’t just care, He also has the capacity to solve the problems. He will attend to your concerns, and do beyond your expectations. Simply pray; “Father, I trust you with my concerns (mention them by name if you can spot them). I know you can see every thing, and you know what to do. Please, take charge and give my heart rest, in Jesus name! Amen. He cares for you with very deep affection and watches over you very carefully. Trust Him with whatever bothers you. That may be another secret to living very long on earth.
