THAT IT'S POPULAR DOESNT MAKE IT RIGHT“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV.
Once you grow to the point whereby you can differentiate chaff from wheat as a Christian, you have become a sound Christian. If you have matured to the point whereby you are able to differentiate genuine Ministers of GOD from the fake ones, judging by their fruits (Character) and not gifts (Charisma), you are ready for life!
““Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention. “Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. DON’T BE IMPRESSED WITH CHARISMA; LOOK FOR CHARACTER. WHO PREACHERS ARE IS THE MAIN THING, NOT WHAT THEY SAY. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned.” Matthew 7:13-20 MSG.
Christians who do not care about Heaven want result any how. They do not care if the Preacher is genuine or not, what they want is answer to their prayer -that’s all! That is why liars fake miracles for them, or give them false prophesies. And they actually prefer them to those who rebuke them and tell them the Truth. The road to life isn’t the popular and broad way, it is a narrow way where your obedience and serious submission to GOD is required. It might be painful and tough to walk through, stay there! Even if you find very few walking by your side, stay there and keep walking. Don’t join the crowd to land in hell fire?… Stay in the path of life, walk in the way of Truth!
